Was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System and graduated from Arsenel Technical High School with a concentration in Aeronautical Engineering and Music Theory Appreciation. In addition, he has completed courses at Lewis Clark Career Center with an emphasis in Auto Service Technology and a certificate program at Urshan Graduate School of Theology with an emphasis in Counseling in the church. After thirty-five years working at General Motors he retired in 2016. Pastor Ledford was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost on March 19, 1978 and called to the ministry in 1980 and began working diligently in his home church Bethel Tabernacle Apostolic Church under the Late Suffragan Bishop Owen Q. Young in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked tirelessly as the Church janitor, Sunday School Teacher, and Devotional Leader until his job at General Motors transferred him to Wentzville, Missouri.
After his transition to Missouri he became a member of Grace Gospel Temple Church and served in various capacities under his pastor the Late Senior District Elder Jesse L. Watts, Sr. Under his leadership, Elder Ledford completed the Ministerial Development Course offered by Aenon Bible College to receive his ministerial license in the Midwestern District Council. He also served as the Assistant Pastor of Grace Gospel Temple Church from 1984 to 2016 and served as the Interim Pastor after our beloved Senior District Elder Jesse L. Watts was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2001. Elder Ledford served as the pastor for one year and one month and the Lord continued to add to the church such as should be saved through many trials, persecutions, and toils. After much fasting and prayer, the Lord sent a new shepherd to Grace Gospel Temple, Suffragan Bishop Paul H. Evans in April 2002.
Under Suffragan Bishop Evans ministry Elder Ledford was ordained in the Midwestern District Council of July, 2011. Pastor Ledford, Pastor Lil Grace prison Ministry at South Central Correctional Facility a maximum security prison in Licking, Missouri for over ten years. He has been a Sunday School teacher for thirty-one years, Assistant Superintendent for seventeen years, and a Sunday School Superintendent for over thirteen years. He also served as President of the Ministers for thirty years and has been a board member for twenty-eight years.
Was born in Holly Grove, Arkansas. She was educated in the Clarendon School District and graduated from Clarendon High School. She went to OIC Vocational & Technology Community College. She completed the Aenon Bible College Ministerial Development Course in 2012 and became a licensed Minister in the Midwestern District Council, 12th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Incorporated under the leadership of her Pastor, Suffragan Bishop Paul H. Evans, Sr. Evelyn is also an entrepreneur and has been employed at several companies. She worked at Timex Corporation as an Oil Inspector from 1974 to 1980 and for Fire and Casualty Insurance Company from 1980 until March 1981. After her marriage, she spent the early years of her children’s life being at home nurturing, caring, and teaching them about holy and righteous living. Once her children were older, she worked with her sister as a private duty nurse from 1993-2010. During this time she started her own business G & W Commercial Cleaning Company and E & L Vending from 1995-2008. In 2008 she worked for Missouri Mentor, physical, mentally and challenged people from 2008-2016.
First Lady Evelyn Ledford was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost on July 10, 1978 and began working diligently in her home church First Pentecostal Church North Little Rock, Arkansas under the Late Bishop Leodis Warren. She served on the Usher Board from 1978 until March 1981, the Choir and member of the Prayer Band.
In February 1984, they moved to St. Charles, Missouri where her husband started a new job at General Motors in Wentzville, Missouri. They became members of Grace Gospel Temple Church. Evangelist Ledford has served in various capacities under her pastor the Late Senior District Jesse L. Watts, Sr. Under his leadership she served as the President of Pastor’s Aide, Usher Board, Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Minister’s Wives Auxiliary. After the death of her Pastor, her husband served as the interim Pastor for one year and one month until the Lord sent a new shepherd to Grace Gospel Temple, Suffragan Bishop Paul H. Evans in April 2002.
Under Suffragan Bishop Paul H. Evans ministry Evangelist Ledford has served as a Volunteer at Lil Grace Prison Ministry at South Central Correctional Facility, a maximum-security prison in Licking, Missouri from 2006-2008. Evangelist Ledford served as a Sunday School Teacher since 1985 and as Pastor’s Aide President since 1985 and as a Vocation Bible School teacher. In addition, she is a member of the Grace Gospel Temple Minister’s Auxiliary.
First Lady Ledford’s most notable accomplishment is being married to her devoted and faithful husband Pastor Gerald William Ledford, Sr. since March 14, 1981. Together, they have four children and twelve grandchildren. They also serve together in ministry at Grace Gospel Temple South in Conyers, Georgia.
